Skogvoll on Andøya
The settlement at Skogvoll on Andøya is wonderfully located. The buildings lie on a thin strip of land between the open sea on one side and Skogvoll Lake on the other. I flew over in a small plane on a fine summer day. I can imagine what it's like to live here when winter storms rage. North of the settlement is a mire and wetland area that stretches across the island from Skogvoll Lake to Dverberg-Saura on the east side.
